Hi Luciano, there are still many reasons why people might want to use jQuery. I agree you don’t necessarily need it for everything, but as I listed at the end of the article, jQuery still makes it easier to add interactions to web pages, has a very large community, and plenty of pre-made components and plugins. For example, think of simple things like adding a tooltip to a button, create a modal, a “lightbox”… There are jQuery plugins for that and it’s very easy and simple.
